Privacy Policy
Compliant with Québec's Law 25 modernizing legislative provisions regarding personal information protection.
1. Data controller
Laurentides Immobilier is responsible for the personal information collected on this site.
2. Privacy officer
For any request to access, correct, withdraw consent, delete, or ask a privacy-related question, please use our secure privacy request form. We do not publish a personal email address — this form is the official way to reach our privacy officer.
3. Information collected
- Contact details (name, email, phone) you voluntarily submit through the inquiry form.
- Information about your real estate project (intent, region, budget, timeline, message).
- Limited technical data (IP, user-agent) for security and anti-spam purposes.
- Proof of consent: date/time, language, exact text accepted, text version, origin page.
- Cookies — see section 7.
4. Why and how we use it
- Process your request and connect you with an OACIQ-licensed partner broker.
- Follow up on your inquiry and ensure service quality.
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.
5. Who your information may be shared with
Your information is shared only with the OACIQ-licensed partner broker assigned to your request. We never sell your data. Technical subprocessors (hosting, transactional email, audience analytics) may process it on our behalf, in compliance with Law 25.
6. Analytics and advertising pixels
With your consent (the "Analytics" category in the banner), we may use audience analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. These tools may collect data such as: pages visited, interactions, device, browser, approximate region, traffic source, session duration, and events. IP addresses are anonymized.
Later, and only with your consent to the "Marketing" category, we may also use advertising pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel). No marketing pixel is loaded until you accept that category.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to run this site (session, security, storing your consent). Analytics and marketing cookies are only activated after your explicit consent. You can accept, refuse or fine-tune your choices, and change your mind at any time:
8. Retention
Lead inquiries are kept only as long as needed to serve your real estate project, then anonymized or deleted per our retention schedule. The cookie consent proof is kept for up to 12 months. Analytics identifiers follow their providers' retention (typically 14–26 months for Google Analytics).
9. Your rights
Under Law 25, you may at any time request access, correction, withdrawal of consent, deletion, or portability of your information. Use the privacy request form.
10. Security
Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), security headers, role-based access control, audit logs, database-level security policies (RLS) and data minimization.
11. Privacy incidents
Should an incident present a serious risk of harm, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and affected individuals, as required by Law 25.
